This article will guide you through the process of connecting your CashFlow Central Account with Xero.
❗Important note:
- If you manage multiple companies within the same accounting software, you can only connect to a single company.
- Switching to a different company or changing accounting software is not supported.
If you choose to disconnect CashFlow Central from your accounting software, you can only reconnect to the same software and company.

How to sync with Xero from the CashFlow Central dashboard
1 - In your CashFlow Central dashboard, select the Sync icon in the top right corner of the screen.
2 - Under Xero, select Connect.
3 - You will now be redirected to Xero. Allow access to proceed with the sync.
If you have more than one Xero company, this screen will look a bit different:
4 - Press the Connect button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
If you have more than one Xero company:
- You can sync with just one Xero company
- Make sure to select the desired company to be connected to
5 - Wait for the connection to be completed. This might take some time.
That’s it. You successfully synced Xero with your CashFlow Central account.
How to sync with Xero from the Settings page
1 - From your CashFlow Central dashboard, select Settings to access the settings page.
2 - Under Settings, select Sync and import from the left side menu.
3 - Under Xero, select Connect.
4 - You will now be redirected to Xero. Allow access to proceed with the sync.
If you have more than one Xero company, this screen will look a bit different:
5 - Press the Connect button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
If you have more than one Xero company:
- You can sync with just one Xero company
- Make sure to select the desired company to be connected to
6 - Wait for the connection to be completed. This might take some time.
That’s it. You successfully synced Xero with your CashFlow Central account.
How to sync with Xero from the Bills tab
1 - From your CashFlow Central Dashboard, select the Bills tab.
2 - Next, select Import bills and then Connect accounting software.
3 - In the pop-up window, select Connect Xero.
4 - You will now be redirected to Xero. Allow access to proceed with the sync.
If you have more than one Xero company, this screen will look a bit different:
5 - Press the Connect button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
If you have more than one Xero company:
- You can sync with just one Xero company
- Make sure to select the desired company to be connected to
6 - Wait for the connection to be completed. This might take some time.
That’s it. You successfully synced Xero with your CashFlow Central account.
Checking your Sync
At the top right corner of the dashboard, you’ll see the sync icon indicating that you have successfully connected to Xero.
- When you hover over it, you will see when the last sync happened.
- Clicking this icon will manually sync the two accounts.
Additionally, you can also check the last time a sync was made under the Settings.
